Yukon Technology Conference: Thanks and photos January 21, 2011 at 11:29 am
On January 19, YITIS held the 2011 Yukon Technology Conference in Whitehorse.
The conference was generously sponsored by Yukon Government Department of Economic Development, Northwestel, McAfee and MEADIAsolutions.
Our goal for the event was to host a low-cost, high-quality local conference with inspiring speaker presentations, practical advice and great networking opportunities.
From the feedback we received, the event was successful on all accounts. Our aim was to get 60 people to attend, but we had over 90 folks show up, so that was both a surprise and a compliment to the Yukon IT industry. If there’s something Yukoners love on a cold winter day, it’s hot coffee, warm food and great company.
Thanks to all of those who attended and helped us organize this very memorable day!
