Microsoft SharePoint 2007 fulfills a range of business needs. As a platform, it can enhance collaboration, enable content management workflow, include enterprise search capabilities and provide many other benefits to large organizations. For these reasons, Government of Yukon, City of Whitehorse and Northwestel are all interested in SharePoint deployments of their own.
YITIS has organized a round table discussion with key representatives from each of these organizations with the goal of determining what local skills and services may be needed to support their efforts. Whether it’s strategic planning, information design, user interface design or custom application development, as an industry, we have the chance to establish partnerships and create a vibrant community of SharePoint expertise.
